T20 World Cup: Namibia Qualifies For The Super 12 Stage
In the first round of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, Namibia defeated Ireland by 8 wickets to qualify for the Super 12 stage.
In the first match played on Friday, Ireland won the toss and elected to bat and scored 125 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Ireland's Paul Stirling (38) and Kevin O'Brien (25) stood out.
Namibia easily completed the target of 126 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the 19th over and thus they entered the Super 12 stage.

For Namibia, captain Erasmus batted brilliantly and played an unbeaten 53-run innings while David Visaye scored 28 runs to help his team win.
Namibia are likely to be in Group 2 in the Super 12 stage, but the official decision will be made after the second match between Sri Lanka and Namibia, which is being played today.
It should be noted that the seventh edition of the ICC Twenty20 World Cup is underway in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
