Russian-born Muslim fighter & UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will defend his title at UFC 254 against American fighter Justin Gaethje.

Khabib vs. Gaethje takes place at the Flash Forum on the company's Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. Khabib has already fought in the United Arab Emirates, defeating Poirier at UFC 242 in September 2019.

This is the first fight since the death of Khabib Nurmagomedov's father and coach, while Khabib fought his last fight in 2018 against Connor McGregor in which he won.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has competed in 28 UFC fights so far and is unbeaten, while his opponent Justin Gatje has competed in 22 fights so far, losing two of them.
