Setback For Real Madrid: Hazard And Casemiro Also Tested Positive

At the Spanish record champions Real Madrid there were two further positive results in the context of the regularly conducted test series. Eden Hazard and Casemiro have been infected with the virus, Real announced on Saturday morning.

After central defender Eder Militao, who tested positive for the corona virus just under a week ago, offensive player Hazard and midfielder Casemiro have now also become infected.

Both the Belgian and the Brazilian played in the 3-2 Champions League victory against Inter Milan on Tuesday. Nevertheless, all other results from the test series on Friday morning were negative for the players and in the support staff, the Spanish record champions announced on Saturday. The Madrilenians will have to do without two more players on Sunday if they are guests in Valencia at 9 pm local time.
