Maradona's Body Needs To Be "Kept Safe" Due To An Ongoing Case

Maradona died last month of a heart attack at the age of 60.

An Argentine court has ordered the submission of DNA samples of a legendary footballer following a petition filed by a woman who said Maradona could be "his father".

Maradona had two daughters from his marriage, but after the separation, he revealed that he was the father of six more children.

The lawsuit was filed by Magali Gul, a 25-year-old girl. Magali Gul was adopted and said that her birth mother contacted her two years ago and said that my father could be 'Diego Maradona'.

In a video posted on Instagram, Maggie Gul said it was her "universal right" to know "whether Maradona is really her real father or not."

Maradona died on the 25th of last month, after which he was buried in his family cemetery in Buenos Aires.

The court had on November 30 ordered that his body not be cremated until all forensic tests had been performed.

Another order on Wednesday extended the ban.

Reuters reports that Maradona's lawyer says the great footballer's DNA samples already exist. Therefore, it is not necessary to dig the grave again and exhume his body.

Who will inherit Maradona's wealth and how it will be distributed among them is a very complex process and in this regard his real children and children who have not been recognized yet are also fighting a court battle.

There has been speculation about his assets since his death, and it is being speculated that it will not be easy to distribute them among his heirs.

Maradona's family is very large. He has at least eight children after having relationships with six different women. It is expected that their inheritance will be distributed equally among all children.

But there is no information about his will. Legal experts and journalists in Argentina agree that the process will not be straightforward.

Who are Maradona's children?

In Maradona's colorful life, parental claims have become commonplace.

One of his daughters once joked that if the former footballer wanted, he could form a football team of 11 people at once due to this growing family.

For years, Maradona denied having any children other than his two daughters, Giannina, 31, and Dalma, 33. The children's mother is Maradona's ex-wife Claudia Villafen, whom he divorced in 2003 after 20 years of marriage.

Maradona has since admitted to having six more children.

In the 2010s, he recognized Diego Jr., 34, and Gina, 24, but his mother had to fight a lawsuit against Maradona. Maradona had relations with these women.

After the birth of their second son, seven-year-old Diego Fernando, in 2013, he was immediately recognized without a fight.

Then in 2019, Maradona's fans had another surprise when his lawyer announced that he had three more children in Cuba. He spent many years here after 2000 to seek treatment for his cocaine addiction.

But now we have reached the present date. Two more children have been added, including 19-year-old Lara and 25-year-old Gill. ۔

Lara's lawyer has already asked the court to obtain DNA samples from Maradona's body. Even if Lara and Gill prove that Maradona is their father, it is unclear whether they will inherit anything.

What is Maradona's total wealth estimate?

No total list of Argentine footballers' total wealth or assets has been published. Some media reports have speculated that there are two ways to estimate total wealth.

The first method estimates the total value of Maradona's assets. It estimates the value of everything from their sports cars to their jewelry.

Estimates range from 75 million to about 100 million. This amount has been used extensively by the Argentine media. It is cited without sources, but the estimate was first made by a local journalist, Hulio Chapeta, who has been one of Maradona's close associates.

In the second estimate, Maradona's assets are deducted from the amount owed to him.

According to Celebrity Networth, a website that estimates the wealth of celebrities, Maradona was worth a total of 500,000 million. According to the website, they estimate it from financial analysis, market research and internal sources.
